Meet us at Bar Uno at 18:30 where you’ll be transported to Bangor City Football Club. Here will be our open evening where we'll present information about the UOTC and what we can offer students during their time at Bangor University.
Challenge yourself, develop new skills and make lifelong friends with Wales Universities Officers’ Training Corps (WUOTC). From military skills, fieldcraft and leadership to sport, shooting and adventurous training, there’s something for everyone. Take part in activities such as skiing, surfing, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing and mountaineering across the UK and around the world. You’ll also have the chance to compete in sport, take part in expeditions and training weekends, enjoy a busy social life and get paid while doing it. Best of all, there’s no commitment to join the Army after university. You choose how much you get involved and what you want to get out of it.

During the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about WUOTC, our detachment and the experiences available to officer cadets.
There will be plenty of opportunity to meet and chat with current officer cadets and staff members, giving you the chance to ask questions about life in WUOTC, training, opportunities, commitments and what you can expect as an officer cadet.
